: Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 29.04.2015 to regularize his service with effect from 02.08.2007 with all monetary benefits.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed by Mr.M.Sivakanth, who was engaged on piece rate basis in computer section, by proceedings bearing R.C.No.AE51374/2007, dated 12.07.2007, by the Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation, Chennai, the 1st respondent herein. The petitioner claims to be in continuous employment for more than 7 years. The grievance of the petitioner is that his services are not regularized although several vacancies arose for the post of Group IV employees. Therefore, the petitioner gave his representation dated 29.04.2015 to the first respondent through the 2nd respondent to regularize his service. The 2nd respondent has also forwarded the petitioner's representation through his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.E2/2037/2015, dated 15.06.2015, yet the first respondent did not take any steps. Therefore, he comes to this Court.

2. This Court, considering the limited scope of prayer made by the petitioner and keeping in mind the proposal made by the 2nd respondent, dated 15.06.2015, hereby directs the first respondent to consider the case of the petitioner, as he claims to in service for more than seven years, on merits, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
