Read with 13 (1)(c) & (d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 IPC and to take action against the accused person in accordance with law. O R D E R

This is an application filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent to register the complaint dated 19.04.2012 preferred by the petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 467, 471, 477(A) of I.P.C. Read with 13(1)(c) & (d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 IPC and to take action against the accused person in accordance with law.

2.A detailed status report dated 11.03.2016, has been filed by the second respondent, wherein, page No.3, it is stated as follows:

"It is also humbly submitted that, besides the above petition dated 19.04.2012, the petitioner also sent 2 petitions on 15.10.2015 and 17.10.2015 respectively to DVAC, Chennai and were registered as Memo No.9418/2015/VAC-4/RM dated 16.11.2015 in DVAC and sent to V&AC, Ramanathapuram for report. The then Inspector, V&AC, Ramanathapuram also analyzed the petitions and requested the DVAC seeking permission to register another fresh Detailed Enquiry on the allegations contained in those petitions on 14.12.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Hence, the DVAC ordered to register and conduct preliminary Enquiry into the fresh allegation contained in the petition dated 19.10.2015 sent by the petitioner Tr.A.M.Yusuf on 10.03.2016 vide PE47/2016/RDP/HQ. Hence a Preliminary Enquiry was registered in V&AC, Ramanathpuram on the basis of the petition of Tr.A.M.Yusuf Dt.19.10.2015 and enquiry is on progress."

3.On a perusal of the above said report, it is found that the respondents are conducting appropriate enquiry in accordance with law. The status report filed by the second respondent viz., the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vigilance and Anti Corruption, Ramanathapuram dated 11.03.2016 is placed on record. 4.Recording the said report, this criminal original petition is closed.
