Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and liberty as per law within the time frame fixed by this Court. For Petitioner :

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking police protection to the petitioner based on the representation dated 24.06.2019.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 09.11.2021, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that because of the love affair of the petitioner, trouble has been made by the petitioner's parents, over which, the above said representation has been given. On that ground, the matter has been listed today for getting instructions with regard to the stage of the representation that has been made by the petitioner.

3. Today, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side), appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that during the course of enquiry, the petitioner appeared before the enquiry officer and has given a statement to the effect that when she was living with Vinoth, some people from her parental home came and assaulted them. Hence, she lodged a complaint before Jambunathapuram Police Station to work out her remedy. Further action has been dropped on her complaint, since the petitioner herself has withdrawn the complaint by giving undertaking that she will workout her remedy before Jambunathapuram Police Station.

4. In view of the above submission, nothing survives for further direction or consideration in this petition. The petitioner is at liberty to workout her remedy before Jambunathapuram Police station. With the above said liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
