O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to submit his enquiry report to the first respondent within two weeks from the date of receipt of this order and direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's petition pending in A4/9179/2015 within a further period of two weeks.

2. The petitioner is before this Court with the grievance that his land has been unauthorisedly distributed to the landless poor without notice. Against the same, the petitioner has filed a petition before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tenkasi, the first respondent herein.

3. The first respondent has directed the second respondent to conduct an enquiry and to send a report and even though 2 1⁄2 years lapsed, report has not been sent. Due to the delay caused by the second respondent, the said petition is pending without any https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

progress. Aggrieved over the in-action on the part of the first and the second respondents, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, a direction is issued to the first respondent to call for the enquiry report from the second respondent and pass orders on the petition in A4/9179/2015 preferred by the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P.(MD) No.12145 of 2018 is closed.
