The petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his usage of land in S.No.31/1A to the extent of 3 cents, comprising a Well, 10 HP electric Motor pump set and 12 1⁄2 HPEB service in NO.186 at Polakkapatti, Panamoopanpatti Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District based on the representation of the petitioner dated 25.02.2016. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents 1 and 2. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.It is seen that the petitioner and the 3rd respondent are brothers and there appears to be an irrigation dispute between them. In
a case of this nature, it is not open to this Court to issue a direction for police protection and the rights of the parties have to be determined only by the civil Court. Accordingly, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
