O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the wife of the detenu, seeking a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the body of the petitioner's husband, namely, Parameshwaran, aged about 40 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

2.Heard Mr.K.K.Kannan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Ramar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. We have also perused the records carefully. 3.Today, when the Habeas Corpus Petition was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the detenu was arrested by Kerala Police at Vizhingam, in Crime No.1696 of 2017 for an offences under Sections 379 and 349 IPC and he was also remanded to judicial custody.

4.In view of the above, since the detenu was arrested by Kerala Police at Vizhingam, in our considered view, nothing survives for adjudication in the Habeas Corpus Petition. Hence, we are left with no other option except to close this Habeas Corpus Petition.
