O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to issue patta in the petitioner's name for the property in Survey No.525/18 measuring 96 cents of Punja land situated at Kalappakulam Village, Sankarankovil Taluka, Tirunelveli District by considering the representation dated 22.05.2018 within the period as stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent.

3. Without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued the first respondent to verify the revenue and other

records as to its classification, ownership, possession, enjoyment, rival claims, civil disputes etc., in respect of the property and conduct an enquiry after affording opportunity of personal hearing to all the parties interested for the purpose of survey of the land and pass orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
