ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent and his officials not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that there is a money dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 5, who are none other than his sister and relatives, based on the complaint now the second respondent police is harassing the petitioner. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on instructions would submit that there is no petition and enquiry pending against the petitioner and the second respondent police is also not harassing the petitioner.

4. On perusal of the records, it is seen that the petitioner only made a representation to the Superintendent of Police, Dindigul District alleging that the third respondent has to repay some loan amount and requested him to take action. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, now the second respondent police is harassing the petitioner.

5. Considering the fact that no petition enquiry is pending against the petitioner, the second respondent police is directed not to harass the petitioner.

6. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
