This Criminal Orginal Petition filed 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to speed up the trial in pending CC No.91/2022 on the file of the learned Additional District Judge, Special Court for NDPS Cases, Puthukottai in Crime No.96/2021 on the file of the 2nd Respondent Police.

ORDER:- This Criminal Orginal Petition coming on for hearing on this day under the caption 'Extension of time for lower court' and upon perusing the earlier order of this Court dated 04.06.2024 and subsequently granted time and now the requisition letter submitted by the Additional District Judge/Presiding Officer,

Pudukottai, vide his the Letter in D.No.686/2025, dated 24.03.2025, seeking further three months time for dispose of the case C.C.No.91 of 2022, this Court made the following order: This Court, while disposing of Crl.OP.(MD)No.5430 of 2024, by its order, dated 04.06.2024 has directed the learned Additional District Judge, Special Court for NDPS Cases, Puthukottai to dispose of the case in C.C.No.91 of 2022, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. 2.The learned Additional District Judge has circulated a letter dated 24.03.2025, seeking further time to dispose of C.C.No.91 of 2022.

3.In view of the above, further time of three months is granted as requested by the learned Additional District Judge, Special Court for NDPS Cases, Puthukottai, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.91 of 2022.
