ORDER

This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the third respondent to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members as against the illegal acts of the respondents 4 to 8 based on the petitioner's representation on 05.03.2024.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner received a life threat from the respondents 4 to 8 and thereby, he lodged a complaint and FIR was also registered. Thereafter again, the respondents 4 to 8 are frequently causing life threat to the petitioner and thereby, the petitioner sent representation on 05.03.2024 and the same has not been considered so far. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, submits that there is a dispute in 2/5

respect of property between the petitioner and his brother, thereby, the petitioner lodged a complaint and FIR was registered. Thereafter, he sent a representation seeking police protection and the same was closed, after conducting enquiry. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without issuing notice to the respondents 4 to 8, is inclined to pass order in this petition.

5. Since the representation of the petitioner was already considered and closed by the third respondent, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, if the respondents 4 to 8 indulge in any criminal activities, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the third respondent by way of specific complaint in accordance with law. 08.04.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No Rmk 3/5
