O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondent police to file a final report in crime No.170 of 2018 registered under Section 174 Cr.P.C., on the file of the respondent police.

2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that for the petition mentioned First Information Report, the respondent police had completed the investigation and filed the final report on 02.07.2019 as "Action Dropped".

3.At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that so far the petitioner has not served with the copy of the final report.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.7974 of 2020 4.In view of the above, this Court directs the learned Additional Public Prosecutor to serve the copy of the final report filed by the respondent police to the petitioner. 5.Since there is no FIR pending on the file of the respondent police, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous. Therefore, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous.
