O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register a case, on the basis of the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sathankulam, Thoothukudi District in Cr.M.P.No.978 of 2019, dated 04.02.2019.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sathankulam, Thoothukudi District passed an order under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C., directing the second respondent police to conduct investigation on the petitioner's complaint and file a report. But, so far no enquiry was conducted. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. Today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on instructions would submit that now on the complaint given by the petitioner, F.I.R. has been registered in Crime No.6 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 498(A) of I.P.C., and Section 4 of Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, and he has also https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

produced the copy of the F.I.R., before this Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
