Respondent Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to pay the petitioner all the consequential benefits, including arrears of wages for the period from 16.05.2014 to 28.11.2017 payable to him pursuant to the order of the respondent dated 18.11.2017 regularising his services w.e.f. 16.05.2014 together with 18% interest within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R
The prayer sought for in the writ petition is for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to pay the petitioner all the consequential benefits, including arrears of wages for the period from 16.05.2014 to 28.11.2017 payable to him pursuant to the order of the respondent dated 18.11.2017 regularising his services w.e.f. 16.05.2014 together with 18% interest within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.
2.Heard Mr.S.Arunachalam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Sathiyasing, learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent.
3.The petitioner has been working as Conductor at the respondent Corporation. After some struggle, his service was regularised from 16.05.2014. However, the petitioner seems to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
have got salary only from 28.11.2017. Therefore, seeking the salary payable from 16.05.2014 to 27.11.2017, the petitioner has given a representation on 04.05.2018 to the respondent and in this regard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that if the said representation is directed to be considered and an order to that effect is directed to be passed, within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied. 4.I have heard the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent, who would submit that the said representation of the petitioner dated 04.05.2018 would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame.
5.Considering the said submissions made by both sides, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction: "The respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.05.2018 with regard to his grievance of non payment of salary for the period from 16.05.2014 to 27.11.2017 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order".
6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
