... Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 2 & 3 to immediately settle the commutation and the revised pension, along with interest at the rate of 12% from 01.07.2011.

O R D E R

The writ petitioner seeks commutation and payment of revised pension together with interest.

2.The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the writ petitioner has been granted pension from the month of October 2011. Only due to the Audit Objections, commutation is yet to be settled. Since pension has already been granted, the question of withholding the commutation benefit cannot arise.

3.The third respondent is therefore directed to disburse the commutation benefits to the writ petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is allowed. No costs.
