Respondents Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents ie., the Secretary to Government, Rural Development and Panchayatraj Department, Chennai, the Commissioner of Rural Development, Chennai and the Director of Local Fund Audit, Chennai to dispose off the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2014 claiming interest under Rule 45(A) of the Tamil Nadu Pension Rules within a specified time frame.

ORDER

The petitioner was working as a Rural Medical Officer. He retired from service on 31.03.1993. But, his retirement benefits were settled after a considerable delay. The writ petitioner's age is 84.He given a representation dated 14.06.2014 claiming interest under Rule 45(A) of Tamil Nadu Pension Rules, 1978. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.The first respondent is directed to pass orders thereon in accordance with law and disburse benefits if the writ petitioner is entitled to, without any delay.
