ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner without following the due process of law based on the representation dated 01.07.2019.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent is a tenant under the petitioner. Due to the landlord and tenant dispute, the third respondent/tenant has given a complaint against the petitioner/landlord. Based on the complaint, the second respondent police has conducted the enquiry, in which the petitioner has also appeared and thereafter, a complaint has been closed. closing the complaint, the second respondent police is again harassing the petitioner. Hence, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

3.In view of the above, as per direction of this Court, Ms.Kumari, the Sub Inspector of Police, Theppakulam Police Station, Madurai District is present today and she has submitted that since some basic amenities have not been provided by the petitioner to the tenant, she called the petitioner for enquiry and advised her.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record. 5.Considering the fact that based on the complaint given by the third respondent, an enquiry has been conducted and the same was closed, thereafter, again the second respondent police interfered with the civil dispute and hence, the second respondent police is directed not to harass the petitioner. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
