This Writ Petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent to issue non-traceable certificate for the missing document bearing Document Nos. 947/1975 and 816/1978 on the file of Sub Registrar, Vadipatti Sub Registrar Office, Madurai District bearing S.No. 1516/3A 1516/3b vide Patta No.3798, situated at Kachaikatti Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District, in pursuant of the petitioner's representation, dated 10.01.2024.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that as per the Circular of the Director General of Police / Head of Police Force, Tamil Nadu, Chennai-4, in Rc.No.2029209/General.4(1)/2022, dated 01.04.2022, the Field Officers were directed to follow certain Standard Procedures.

3. In view of the same, the Petitioner is directed to follow the Procedures as stated in the Circular of the Director General of Police, dated 01.04.2022. The Petitioner shall furnish the details of the documents along with his photograph and proof of Identity to the Respondent Police.
4. On such furnishing of documents and photographs, the Respondent Police shall issue necessary certificate as per the Circular of the Director General of Police, within a reasonable time.
5. With the above directions, this Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
