ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Padmanabhapuram, Kanyakumari District to dispose of P.R.C.No.22 of 2014, within a stipulated time limit.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the case in P.R.C.No.22 of 2014 has already been committed to the Court of Sessions and pending trial before the Assistant Sessions Court, Nagercoil, in S.C.No.108 of 2017.

4. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Nagercoil, to dispose of the sessions case pending in S.C.No.108 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible.
