ORDER
****** [Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] The petitioner is the mother of the detenu, viz., A.Anusuya, aged 17 years. She has come forward with this petition stating that the petitioner's daughter went missing on 11.09.2017 from the residential home. Therefore, she preferred a complaint to the respondent police. Since no effective steps were taken by the respondent police to secure her daughter, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the detenu has been produced by the respondent police. On enquiry, the detenu stated that she went along with the third respondent Shankar. However, now she expressed her willingness to go along with the petitioner/mother.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that since the detenu is a minor girl, a case was registered in Crime No.604/2017 for girl missing and subsequently altered into one under Section 6 of the POCSO Act against the third respondent. 4.In view of the willingness expressed by the detenu to go along with the petitioner/mother, nothing survives for adjudication in this Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
