Crime No.87 of 2015 : Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying to direct the respondent No.1 to withdraw the case in Crime No.87 of 2015 u/s. 457, 380 IPC on the file of the respondent No.3 dated 30.01.2015 and entrust the same to respondent No.2 for an investigation of the case by a competent Officer and file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent No.1 to withdraw the case in Crime No.87 of 2015 u/s. 457, 380 IPC on the file of the respondent No.3 dated 30.01.2015 and entrust the same to respondent No.2 for an investigation of the case by a competent Officer and file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations and the status of the accused, this Court is of the view that it will serve the interest of justice, if the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Melur, is directed to monitor the investigation in Crime No.87 of 2015 on the file of the 3rd respondent, after completion of the general elections to the Assembly.
