ORDER

The petitioner, who is the victim, has approached this Court that the case, which has been registered in the year 2021, has not seen any progress.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the accused are in West Bengal and the offence has been committed through mobile phone and therefore, they are having certain difficulty in concluding the investigation.

3.Considering the submissions, this Court has already passed an order on 22.04.2024 suggesting the respondent police to declare that they are incapable of conducting the investigation. So that the investigation can be transferred to some other Investigation Agency. 4.Now the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the respondent police has come forward to complete the investigation and therefore, they need six months time to complete the investigation.

5.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and to file the final report before the concerned Court, 2/4

within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
