O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to issue computerized patta to the petitioners based on the 3rd respondent's "Tharkas" Assignment patta issued to the petitioners in No.Ne.Mu.Ne.A.93/1406 in Survey Nos.49/5 to 49/25 respectively at Aliyanilai Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukottai District based on the petitioners'
representation,dated 18.01.2022 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2.The petitioners have filed documents along with the Writ Petition to show that the petitioners have been issued assignment patta in their respective names. The assignment pattas issued in favour of the petitioners have also been enclosed. The petitioners have given a representation on 18.01.2022 for the issuance of computerised patta.
3.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the petitioners' representation is considered on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair hearing to the petitioners including granting them the right of personal hearing on merits and in accordance with law.
4.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on the petitioners' representation, dated 18.01.2022 seeking for computerized patta to the petitioners based on the 3rd respondents "Tharkas" Assignment patta to petitioners in No. Ne.Mu.Ne.A.93/1406 in Survey Nos.49/5 to 49/25 respectively at Aliyanilai Village, Aranthangi Taluk, Pudukottai District, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioners including granting them the right of personal hearing on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
5.With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
