O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the detenu namely Abinaya, Wife of S.Periyaveeran, aged about 24 years before this Court and set her at liberty.
2. The petitioner is the husband of the detenu. On 24.10.2017, the petitioner's wife went to computer coaching class. Thereafter, she had not returned home. When the petitioner was trying to contact her over phone, he was not able to contact her. The petitioner made a search in several places including her https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
relatives, but he could not succeed. Hence, he lodged a complaint before the respondent police on 24.10.2017. Since, no action has been taken up, the petitioner is before this Court with the above petition.
3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the detenu was present before us. When we enquired the detenu, she stated that she went along with the third respondent on her volition. However, now she expressed her willingness to go along with the petitioner.
4. In view of the statement given by the detenu, we are of the view that nothing survives for adjudication in this Petition. Hence, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(AD-I) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
