*********** [Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.] The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the mother of the detenu, seeking a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the person or body of the detenu, namely, Manjula, aged about 27 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. The detenu is present in Court. On enquiry, she informs that since she has been professing Christianity, which is not to the likelihood of her family and as arrangements were made to give her in marriage, she left the matrimonial home and at present, she is staying at Sri Maha Women's Hostel, Adayar, Chennai and is in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

search of employment. She further informs that she is not in illegal custody.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the detenu informs that the detenu has been in touch with her mother, the petitioner herein and the position of her being at Chennai is well known to the petitioner.
