The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the Second Appeal filed by the petitioner on 03.01.2023. 2.Heard Mr.N.Pragalathan, learned Counsel for the petitioner, Mr.Raguvaran Gopalan, learned Sanding Counsel for the first respondent and Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 2 to 4.

3.The learned Counsel, who appears on behalf of the first respondent, stated that out of 7 sanctioned post for State Information Commission, only two posts are filled up and there are five vacancies. It is therefore, stated that no specific time limit can be given. 4.It is hoped that an endeavour would be made to dispose of the second application filed by the petitioner on or before 31.12.2023. 2/4
