Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to regularize the service of the petitioner in terms of the proposal forwarded to them in the year 2010 and regularize the service of the petitioners as Wireman Grade -II from 03.01.2010 and 02.10.2010 respectively with all attendant, consequential benefits applicable to them and pay the arrear of salary within the stipulated period of time.

ORDER

Seeking regularization of service of the petitioners in terms of the proposal forwarded by the second respondent in the year 2010, the petitioners made repeated representations to the respondents. But, despite the same, their services as Wireman Grade -II from 03.01.2010 and 02.10.2010 respectively have not been regularized. Hence, the petitioners are before this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that though the proposal has been forwarded to the respondents 1 and 2, the same has not been considered by them so far, and hence, appropriate directions may be issued to them.

3. The learned Government Advocate, who is appearing on behalf of the respondents, would submit that the claim of the petitioners would be be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

4. In such view of the matter, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the claim of the petitioners as per the proposal forwarded to them in the year 2010, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
