O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register the case based on the complaint given by the petitioner herein dated 26.02.2016 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the State.

3. On a reading of the complaint dated 26.02.2016, it essentially appears to be a family dispute between the petitioner and his brothersin-law. It is alleged by the petitioner that one of his brother-in-law, is working as police constable and that on 25.02.2016, he has come to the house of the petitioner and assaulted him. It is seen that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ complaint has been sent by post. Hence, the petitioner is directed to to go in person before the respondent and lodge a fresh complaint

containing the same contents as found in the complaint, dated 26.02.2016 and on receipt of such complaint, the same shall be enquired into carefully and only if the allegations are genuine, the case should be registered, otherwise it is open to the respondent police to close the complaint.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
