Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Assistant Village Administrative Officer in Kattanipatti Village Panchayat, Mathagupatti Post, Sivagangai District, based on interview letter send by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.B2.8558/2013 dated 19.09.2014.

ORDER
Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The petitioner received a call letter for attending an interview on 29.09.2014 for the post of Assistant Village Administrative in Kattanipatti Village, Sivangangai Taluk. The petitioner admittedly did not receive any order of appointment thereafter. Based on the interview call letter, the present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to appoint her as Assistant Village Administrative Officer. When an order of appointment had admittedly not been issued to the petitioner the question of giving direction for keeping a post vacant will not arise. There is absolutely no merit in this petition. 3.The Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
