ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] The petitioner is the father of the detenu, Sibana, aged 16 years. The petitioner's daughter went missing from 03.11.2017. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint with the respondent police and a case has been registered in Crime No.601/2017. Since, no effective steps were taken, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition.
2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the detenu has been produced by the respondent police. On enquiry, she has stated that she was taken by the third respondent and now, she has been secured and expressed her willingness to go along with her father. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. In view of the above, we find that nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to proceed with the case in Crime No.601/2017.
