O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondent to grant patta to the petitioner for the property comprised in R.S.No.211 admeasuring 1 acre 30 cents out of 7 acres 17 cents situated at Pothampatti Village, Usilampatti Union and Sub Registration Limit, Periakulam Registration District, Madurai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 06.04.2022 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner has filed a copy of the sale deed, dated 06.10.1989 standing in his name. He has filed the kist receipts. It is for the respondent to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law and decide as to whether the petitioner is entitled for patta. The petitioner has given a representation for the said purpose.

3.No prejudice will be caused to the respondent, if the petitioner's representation is considered on merits and in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.8727 of 2022 accordance with law after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and any other necessary party whom the respondent deems fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 06.04.2022 seeking for patta in his name for the property comprised in R.S.No.211 admeasuring 1 acre 30 cents out of 7 acres 17 cents situated at Pothampatti Village, Usilampatti Union and Sub Registration Limit, Periakulam Registration District, Madurai District, on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and any other necessary party whom the respondent deems fit to enquire including granting them the right of personal hearing within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
