This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to register the case on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 03.03.2016.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the State. 3.It is seen that the petitioner has lost certain documents in connection with which, he has given a complaint dated 03.03.2016 through post. On a reading of the complaint, it does not disclose the commission of cognizable offence for giving a direction to the respondent police to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 03.03.2016. However, the petitioner is directed to go in person and lodge a complaint before the respondent police containing the same contents as found in the complaint dated 03.03.2016 and on receipt of such complaint, the same shall be enquired into and action shall be taken in accordance with law, if the documents have been genuinely lost by the petitioner. The Police Officer should bear in mind that there are instances where after mortgaging the property, the complaint has been given as if the document has been lost. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
