PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.21 of 2019 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who was arrested on 03.04.2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of I.P.C., in Crime No.21 of 2019, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent police. 3.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner said to have received a sum of Rs.3 Lakhs from the de-facto complainant under a false promise of arranging a job for the de-facto complainant's son in Canada.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was working in South Korea and he did not know the de-facto complainant and he is no way involved in the occurrence. CRL OP(MD).No.6486 of 2021 has been falsely implicated in the present case and therefore, he seeks bail.

5.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is facing three similar cases and under the false promise of securing a job, he has cheated several persons, to the tune of Rs.83 Lakhs. Therefore, he opposes this petition.

6.Considering the bad antecedants of the petitioner, eventhough the petitioner is in custody for the past 48 days, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
