ORDER

The relief sought for in this petition is for police protection for the festival which was held on 14.04.2024 to 25.04.2024. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submits that the period is already over and therefore, this petition has become infructuous.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that on the same issue, the order of this Court was already violated by the Tahsildar, for which, they have filed a contempt petition and this order may affect the contempt proceedings. Hence, they seek liberty to prosecute their 3/6

contempt application.

4.Since the relief sought for in this petition has become infructuous, this Writ Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to prosecute their contempt application. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 05.06.2024 NCC : Yes / No.
