O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to register the pending document P/Othakadai/109/2021, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 19.04.2022.

2.Heard Mr.T.Selvan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Shanmugavel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 3.According to the petitioner, in view of the dispute raised earlier between the parties, they have amicably resolved the same by agreeing to cancel the earlier document and accordingly, a cancellation deed was presented for registration by all the parties jointly. Since the same was not registered, the petitioner has given a representation on 19.04.2022, seeking for registration of the aforementioned documents. Since the representation, has not been considered till date, he has filed this writ petition. 4.

On instructions, the learned Additional Government Pleader, would submit that enquiry has already been initiated by the respondents with regard to the petitioner's representation, dated 19.04.2022. He would submit that within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, the official respondents will consider the representation of the petitioner, after hearing all the necessary parties. The said statement is recorded.

W.P.(MD)No.8668 of 2022 5.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 19.04.2022, seeking for registration of the cancellation deed bearing No. P/Othakadai/109/2021, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and any other necessary parties, whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire, including granting them the right of personal hearing.

6.With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
