ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the 1st Respondent to give necessary direction to the 2nd Respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.74 of 2022 and to file final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the complainant in Crime No.74 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC and now the grievance of the petitioner is that, even after lapse of ten months, investigation has not been completed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.74 of 2022 and that the investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks four months time to file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and also considering the nature of allegation, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a 2/4

final report in Crime No.74 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
