PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to accord permission and gave adequate police protection to the cultural program (Adal Padal) to be conducted at the Arulmighu Sree Vinayagar, Sree Rajakaliamman, Sree Balamurugan temple festival in Mughavanur South Village, Pudhumaniyarampatti, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District on 01.07.2018 at about 07.00pm., to 11.00pm., based on the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2018.

************ This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to accord permission and gave adequate police protection to the cultural program (Adal Padal) to be conducted at the Arulmighu Sree Vinayagar, Sree Rajakaliamman, Sree Balamurugan temple festival in Mughavanur South Village, Pudhumaniyarampatti, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District on 01.07.2018 at about 07.00pm., to 11.00pm., based on the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner has made a representation to the respondents to grant permission for conducting "Adal Padal" programme in Arulmighu Sree Vinayagar, Sree Rajakaliamman, Sree Balamurugan temple festival in Mughavanur South Village, Pudhumaniyarampatti, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District on 01.07.2018. Since the said representation has not been considered by the respondents, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

The application seeking permission to conduct any cultural program with regard to temple festival shall be submitted only by the trustees of the Temple or the committee of the Vizha Kuzhuvinar or the organizers of the festival committee before the concerned respondent police. In the case on hand, the petitioner is the individual person of the said village. Therefore, the petition is liable to be dismissed as not maintainable in the light of the earlier order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.7911 of 2018 dated 12.04.2018. 5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed.
