Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take immediate steps to demolish the cross walls in the centre median in NH7 by making alternative arrangements as per IRC norms and also to shift and replant the advance direction sign board and 3 caution boards planted very close to the junction as per IRC specifications at specified distance and side at the junction of Palamadai - Kurichikulam road crossing the NH7 near Thalaiyuthu by considering petitioner's representation dated 30.04.2015 within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court and further the respondents may be given a specific direction to identify all the accident prone spots in the National Highways in Tamil Nadu and rectify them in accordance with IRC specifications.

which is thereby causing accidents in the National Highways. In this regard, the petitioner has given representation to the authorities on 30.04.2015.

2.We do not express any opinion on the merits of the representation of the petitioner dated 08.10.2015 except to direct the concerned respondent to consider and dispose of the said representation on its own merit and in accordance with law.

3.With the above observation, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
