PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and pass orders in the petitioners representation dated 19.03.2021 seeking to reclassify the land measuring 2 Acres and 15 cents comprised in 1/4

S.No.153 of Thethupatti Village Dindigul West Taluk Dindigul District as 'patta Land' and issue patta for the said land in the name of the petitioner within the time stipulated by this Court.

For Petitioner : Mr.Prabaharan For Respondents : Mr.S.Jeyapriya Government Advocate O RDER This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 19.03.2021, wherein the petitioner is seeking reclassification and issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate, based on the written instructions received from the Tahsildar/third rsepondent, submitted that enquiry was conducted and it was found that the subject property has been categorized as 'Kulam Poromboke' and therefore, patta cannot be granted in favour of the petitioner. 3.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to convey the decision taken to the petitioner within a period of four 2/4

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, it is left open to the petitioner to workout his remedy in accordance with law.
