ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble M.S.Ramesh J.) After passing of the final orders on 07.08.2020, the matter is listed today for recording compliance of the directions to remove the encroachment.

2. The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that all the encroachments in the lands belonging to the Highways Department, have been removed.

3. The petitioner would however submit that the encroachments in Kalakkadu Municipality have not been removed.

4. We find from the records that the Kalakkadu Municipality has not been made as a party respondent, though the prayer has been sought for against them. When the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

Municipality is not a party, the directions issued in the final order dated 07.08.2020, may not be binding on them.

5. Recording the compliance, no further orders are required. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
