O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition seeking direction to the second respondent to produce the persons or bodies of his wife, namely Kanmani, aged about 30 years and minor daughter, namely, Divyadharshini, aged 9 years, before this Court and set them at liberty.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the detenues are his wife and minor daughter and they were found missing from 10.07.2020. It is alleged that the third respondent has kidnapped the detenues and they are in his illegal custody.
3. Today (i.e.15.09.2020), the detenues appeared before this Court through Video Conferencing. On enquiry, the detenu https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
H.C.P.(MD) No.498 of 2020 Kanmani informed that due to misunderstanding with the petitioner, she is living in Batlagundu along with her minor daughter Divyadharshini and the third respondent has only arranged for a house in Batlagundu. The detenu further informed that for some more time, she wants to live away from the petitioner.
4. In the light of the above statement of the detenu, no further orders are necessary in the habeas corpus petition and the same is, therefore, closed.
