The petitioner had purchased the property in Survey No. 274/1 at Hospital Street, Thuvarankurichi Village, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District, by a sale deed bearing No.1313 of 2005 registered on 14.11.2005 in the jurisdictional Sub Registrar Office. The petitioner seeks to survey the said property. He had filed an application through online on 24.02.2023 and had also paid necessary charges. The petitioner claims that the survey should be done and seeks a Mandamus in this regard.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

A direction is given to the respondents 1 and 2 to examine the application of the petitioner herein and examine the sale deed of the petitioner herein and if there are no rival claimants to the title of the petitioner, then proceed to survey the lands of the petitioner and fix the boundary stones. The entire exercise should be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
