ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the accused persons in C.C.No. 98 of 2024 on the file of the Additional District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Sivagiri seeking to quash the charge sheet wherein they are charged with the offences under Sections 296(b), 127(2), 115(2), 351(3) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. 2.Pending investigation, the parties have entered into a compromise. The defacto complainant had agreed for quashing of the charge sheet. Today the defacto complainant is present and she acknowledges the fact that she had agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

3.Considering the above said facts, the charge sheet in C.C.No.98 of 2024 on the file of the Additional District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Sivagiri stands quashed. This Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The compromise memo shall form part of this order. 02.04.2026.
