Respondents/Petitioners PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to pass an order to call for the impugned proceedings bearing M.C.No.24 of 2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambasamudram, Tirunelveli District and quash the same as illegal and devoid of merits as against the petitioner.

ORDER

This petitioner who is the respondent No.4 in M.C.No.24 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Ambasamudram, has come forward with this petition before this Court to quash the proceedings pending against her.

2.According to the petitioner, she is a neighbour to the first respondent and not his relative. Further, she is unnecessarily roped-in in the proceedings initiated under Section 12 of the Domestic Violence Act.

3.The learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the proceedings as against this petitioner in M.C.No.24 of 2015 has been closed as early as on 14.06.2018 and in this regard, he has also produced the daily status report of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Ambasamudram.

4.Recording the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is closed as no further order is required. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
