3.M.Kumar : Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the detenu namely Muthumari, daughter of Marimuthu, aged about 18 years before this Court and set her at liberty. For Petitioner : Mr.C.Bethanasamy For R-1 & R-2 : Mr.R.Anantha Raj, Additional Public Prosecutor.

[Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY, J.] The petitioner, who is the father of the detenu, namely, Muthumari, daughter of Marimuthu, aged about 18 years, has filed the above Habeas Corpus Petition, to produce the detenu before this Court.
2. The respondents / police produced the detenu before this Court and she was also enquired by us in the open Court. The detenu has stated that she is aged 18 years and that she is willing to go along with her parents.
3. Since the detenu is a major, we set her at liberty and the statement made by her that she wants to go along with her parents, is recorded.

4. In view of the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. The respondents / police shall proceed with the complaint in Crime No.667 of 2018, in accordance with law.
