ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned counsel appearing for the parties that pursuant to the mediation, the parties have agreed to settle the dispute and have entered into a settlement agreement, which was signed by the parties on 17.9.2019. The report of the Mediation Centre, Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court, along with the Settlement Agreement entered into between the parties is placed before the Court. In view of the settlement entered, learned counsel for the respondent submits that this revision may be allowed setting aside the judgment passed by the appellate court.

2. Accordingly, the settlement agreement is taken on file and recording the settlement entered into between the parties on 17.9.2019, this criminal revision is allowed and the judgment of the learned Sessions Judge, Kanyakumari @ Nagercoil, dated 12.2.2018, in Crl. A. No.21 of 2016 is set aside. The Settlement Agreement dated 17.9.2019, entered into between the parties, shall form part of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
