ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a renewal of passport based on the petitioner's renewal application. 2.Heard Mr.R.Ilayaraja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.K.Prabhu, learned Central Government Standing Counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the second respondent.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent would now submit that charge sheet has already been filed against the petitioner and it has also taken cognizance in C.C.No.5 of 2021, before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivagangai. The next date of hearing is 31.05.2022. Since the charge sheet has already been filed and the learned Judicial Magistrate, has taken cognizance of the same, the petitioner will have to approach the concerned Magistrate Court.
