O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to issue Natham Patta in petitioner's favour and in favour of petitioner's brothers name E.Udhaykumar and E.Perumal Pandi in respect of the property in Survey No. 562/8A3B situated at Vannikonendal Village, Manur Taluk, Tirunelveli District by considering the petitioner's application dated 29.09.2025 within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's father, Erulappa Thevar, and his brother, Pughalveerar Thevar, had inherited the properties comprised in Survey Nos. 932/1 (Patta No. 1604) and 1104/1A6A (Patta No. 2582), situated at Vannikonendal Village, Manur Taluk, Tirunelveli District. It was further submitted that the petitioner's father's name was erroneously recorded in the patta as "Udaya Thevar, S/o. Erulappa Thevar," 2/5

whereas the said Udaya Thevar is in fact the petitioner's grandfather. It was also stated that Erulappa Thevar passed away on 29.09.2010, leaving behind the petitioner, his two brothers, and their mother as his legal heirs. Subsequently, the petitioner's mother passed away on 16.03.2022. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted a representation to the first respondent seeking issuance of patta in the names of the petitioner and his brothers; however, no action has been taken so far.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the 2nd respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.10.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
