Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to supply the milk to the petitioner without any hindrance for the licensing period that stipulated by the 3rd respondent through his proceedings dated 18/04/2017 in Na.ka.No.306/MKg/14 and by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05/06/2018 within the period that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

Mr.N.Shanmugaselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.N.J.N.Nataraj, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents 2 to 4.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioner is a whole sale dealer of milk and he is receiving milk from the third respondent Co-operative Society and also the petitioner got licence from the third respondent for a period of two years i.e., from 16.06.2017 to 15.06.2019. But, the third respondent stopped milk supply. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner is before this Court for disposal of the representation.

4. In my considered view, although this writ petition is not maintainable, considering the limited prayer of the disposal of the petitioner's representation, a direction is issued to the third respondent to deal with the matter appropriately, on merits and in accordance with law, if he is the competent authority.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
