PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to reinstate the petitioner in service in the post of Driver at the respondent/Corporation with continuity of service and back wages payable to him with effect from 08.02.2011 with all other attendant benefits in the light of the order passed by the Special Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Chennai, dated 29.04.2013 passed in A.P.No.54 of 2011 in rejecting the petition for approval of the order of dismissal from service filed by the respondent under Section 33(2)(b) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. ORDER

It is brought to the notice of this Court that the management has filed the Writ Petition before the Principal Bench, questioning the order of the Deputy Commissioner of Labour, who declined to grant approval. The petitioner can very well contest the proceedings and obtain the reliefs now sought for. 2.With this observation and liberty, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
