ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 3rd respondent not to harass the petitioner based on the representations given by the petitioner dated 19.01.2025 and 21.03.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner is residing in No.1/158, Pramin Street, Melaneelithanallur, Sankarankovil, Tenkasi District and on 08.09.2024, a case has been registered against the petitioner's elder sister son in Crime No.134 of 2024, but this petitioner no way connected with the above said occurrence. Thereafter, the petitioner for the past six months living in the petitioner's relative house at Kerala. Now the petitioner wants to continue his agricultural work in his field at Keelaneethanallur and Melaneelithanallur, but the respondent police have harassing the petitioner by citing the above said case registered against the petitioner's relative. Therefore, the petitioner sent the representations dated 19.01.2025 and 21.03.2025, but the same have not been considered. Hence this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that one close relative of the petitioner was involved in a murder case in Crime No.134 of 2024 and thereafter, the petitioner himself left the locality and thereafter, now wanted to settle at his 2/4

village and no any harassment made by the respondents and the representations of the petitioner are pending. They will complete the enquiry and dispose of the same within a week.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition and recording the above said submission of the learned Government Advocate, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 19.01.2025 and 21.03.2025 and take appropriate decision in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of this order.

5. With the above said observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
